CAPTAIN'S WELCOME

As Captain of the Scottish Women’s Tour to USA 2022, I am immensely proud of all the members of our tour team who have shown great patience and determination against every obstacle placed in our way. Our initial date of January 2021 was delayed to January 2022. This also proved to be too soon to visit the USA without feeling the continuing impact of Covid 19.

Once again we revised our dates and in consultation with our American sisters we are all set to embark upon our long awaited visit across the pond in October 2022. Our flights are booked, all our kit has been purchased and is carefully stored in cupboards and attics until it is packed and labelled and loaded onto our plane in Edinburgh. At that point we will all breathe a hefty sigh of relief.

All we can do now is cross our fingers and “let the tour begin!”
