Boston Sightseeing

Day 25 - 10 November

Our last full day in the USA and we spent it sightseeing in Boston, starting off at the John F Kennedy Library & Museum. There was a very interesting and informative variety of displays, interactive shows and short films depicting Kennedy’s life and his role as President. We also got an insight into Jackie‘s life as his wife, supporter and mother of their children.

Then followed a visit to Prudential Tower where we stopped for lunch and had a chance to explore the retail outlets.

From there it was a trip on the famous Boston Duck Tour, a guided tour round central Boston and onto the Charles River in an amphibian vehicle which gave us wonderful views of the Boston skyline.

Our final evening meal was at the Union Oyster House, America’s oldest restaurant, established in 1826, where there was a wonderful selection of seafood to choose from.
