Day 16 - Tuesday 1st November
Another early start on a beautiful sunny morning. Our hosts dropped us off at 8 am for breakfast at Chicago Curling Club before being piped onto the ice at 9am.
Lunch tables were adorned with balloons tied to life size mahogany curling stones made by a former club curler and lots of old pins which had been donated by families of past curlers. We were invited to take as many as we wished.
After lunch we looked around the club curling museum before heading off to Exmoor Country Club where we received another warm welcome for our afternoon matches.
Teams with byes enjoyed the sunshine and colours at the Botanical Gardens.
In the evening we returned to Exmoor with our hosts for cocktails and dinner. The proceedings began with local girls performing the Scottish sword dance and was brought to a close with the tourists in fine singing voice.
