Curling - Denver day 2

Day 8 - Monday 24 October 2022

A busy day of curling at Denver Curling Club with four teams playing a game in the morning and four teams playing in the afternoon.  We had breakfast in the Table Mountain Inn where we are staying for 2 nights. As usual we were given a sumptuous lunch at the curling club. Again the teams and flag bearers went on the ice accompanied by Scottish music before each game.  At the end of the afternoon's curling Fiona McL did a very nice vote of thanks and we all formed a circle for Auld Lang Syne. Team Coruisk had a bye from the morning game and Team Maree from the afternoon game. Both teams spent their free time visiting Red Rock outdoor amphitheatre
