Day 15 - Monday 31 October 2022
Dropped at the bus by our Milwaukee hosts for 8.15am, Bob drove us through a soft morning to Chicago. Autumn colours and Halloween decorations slid past the bus windows.
On arrival at Chicago Sylvia hopped aboard to be our tour guide on and off the bus. She told us about the architecture and history of the stunning buildings whose tops were lost in the clouds. At Millenium Park we walked past the outdoor auditorium to the stunning Cloud Gate (The Bean). Then free time for a wander before cocktails at Cindy's and then a super dinner at Eataly.
A tired but happy bunch were picked up at Chicago club by our home hosts.
