Our trip for December was to Forfar, Captain Shirley's home rink and originally meant to be our last get-together before going on tour.......
However, not to be put off we had a wonderful day, joined by many of the local Forfar Ladies to make eight rinks in a mock Scotland v USA tour bonspiel, followed by a meal and blether.
The USA won overall and the rankings for the rinks were:-
Gold medals, or gold chocolate coins - Team Coruisk
Silver medals or silver chocolate coins - Team Katrine
Bronze medals, or chocolate puddings - Sheilagh's local masters team
Fourth or white chocolate cabbages - Mary's local team
