Day 10 - Wednesday 26 October 2022
We left Denver for Minneapolis by air this morning and then took a bus to Wisconsin. Driving through to Wisconsin on such a beautiful day was lovely and relaxing. This State is known for its cheese and American football club, known as the “Cheeseheads".
We were welcomed by a "Broom Arch" at Wassau Curling Club and were piped and drummed into the club where we were met by the President, Kim Susens and various speakers including the Mayor of Marathon County.
We were all so proud to be given Honorary Membership of the Club and receive our certificate.
The junior high school choir sang for us, harmonising as well, making us a little nervous about performing our tour songs!
After a hearty meal we went our merry ways with our hosts.
